Announcements
- Sunday School: Begins on September 6th at 10 AM. Please call the church office if you are interested in registering before the 6th.
- 3-CHURCH FELLOWSHIP COFFEE HOUR: If you would like to host a 3-Church Fellowship Coffee Hour, please let the church office know.
- HYMN SING WORSHIP SERVICE will be held next Sunday, August 30th.
- BAPTISMS: Next Sunday, August 30th, Olivia Aruna Samaroo, daughter of Sarah & Vijay Samaroo and granddaughter of Sam & Wellai will be baptized at Bellmore UMC. On October 4th, there will be two baptisms at Bellmore UMC. Member of all three churches are invited to attend these baptisms.
- BACKPACK BLESSING SUNDAY will take place on Sunday September 6th during worship. Please have your child/children bring their backpacks for this special blessing!
- MISSION PROJECT - SCHOOL SUPPLIES: We are collecting school supplies for the John Theissan Children’s Foundation. These items are needed: New Backpacks, Spiral Notebooks, Marble Notebooks, Loose Leaf Binders, Pencils, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Ballpoint Pens, Rulers, Pencil Cases, Scissors, Glue Sticks, Markers and Loose-Leaf Paper. There is a collection box in the Parlor. If you have any questions, please speak to Dianne Kerwin. Thank you for your help!
- GRANDPARENTS SUNDAY will take place on Sunday, September 13th.
- ANNUAL CHARGE CONFERENCE will be held on Monday, September 14th, at 6:30pm – location to be determined. All members are encouraged to attend and all officers and committee chairpersons are to give their annual reports. The deadline for submission of reports to the church office is Tuesday, September 1st!
- BIBLE STUDY will resume on Wednesday, September 23rd at East Meadow UMC at 7:30pm.
Church Schedule
- Our weekly Sunday service begins at 10:00 AM.
- Our church offers a Telephone Conference Prayer Call weekly, on Wednesday mornings at 11:00am. All are welcome to join. The telephone number to call is (605) 313-4875. Enter code 415916.
- Our church offers a One-Room Sunday School program during worship services on Sunday mornings. Each class will have a short Bible story and craft time. We meet in the Chapel every week.
